The Institute of Medical Biochemistry, headed by Prof. Tim Lämmermann, is part of the Centre of Molecular Biology of Inflammation (ZMBE) and embedded within a vibrant research environment and part of various research networks.
Aufgaben:
Our research focuses on investigating single cell and population dynamics during innate immune responses. The successful applicant will join an exciting research program in a competent and international group to investigate the molecular aspects of mast cell and neutrophil biology in vitro and in vivo. For this, we use a variety of techniques specializing in various imaging modalities.
Qualifikationen:
- PhD in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry or similar
- Excellent publication record
- Commitment to research and motivation for interdisciplinary work
- Strong background in cell biology, immunology and inflammation
- Relevant documented experience in live cell imaging and computational image analysis
- Relevant documented experience in mouse work
- The following qualifications are considered an asset:
- Knowledge of intravital, lightsheet and confocal microscopy, live cell imaging
- Proven track record in working with mouse and human neutrophils, endothelial cells or mast cells
