PhD position in Molecular Virology

Aufgaben:
- Mechanistically dissect RNA-protein and protein-protein interactions between viruses and their hosts
- Characterize transcriptome, proteome and interactome dynamics in advanced virus infection models
- Work with diverse RNA viruses (IAV, RSV, SARS-CoV-2) in a BSL-2 and BSL-3 environment
- Collaborate with wet lab scientists and bioinformaticians
Qualifikationen:
- Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related field in the life sciences
- Background or specialization in virology
- Experience working with infectious material, particularly RNA viruses
- Strong written and spoken English language communication skills
- Highly motivated, organized, collaborative and independent
- Due to legal regulations, valid proof of measles immunity / measles vaccination is required.
